The strategic patterns with which the slogans were designed leave the consumers in a state of quagmire. The work addressed those problems the consumers face in understanding speech acts used in advertisement slogans. The research also explained that advertisement slogans perform some acts. The research emphasized as well that the adequate understanding of the speech acts and intentions of the copywriters is insightful and rewarding and that the meaning abstracted from the acts controls the responses of the consumers. The research analyzed some slogans pinning down the various speech acts which enable the consumers interpret the purposes and the intentions of the advertisers. The qualitative content analysis with the descriptive survey method which enabled them inferred and generalized the finding of the study was adopted. The Mutual Contextual Beliefs as a pragmatic theory was adopted and it was found out that context and speaker’s intention play vital roles in conveying messages from advertisers to the audience. And that the meaning abstracted from the acts control the responses of the consumer unconsciously. It was recommended that consumers should watch out for the acts or functions inherent in every slogan as to clear certain confusion that arises from inadequate interpretations. We then concluded that some pragmatic and semantic squabbles facing advertisement can also be addressed through an adequate interpretation of the speech acts inherent in the slogans. Moreso, an adequate understanding of the various speech acts by the consumers as employed by the copywriters enable the consumers to make the appropriate choices.

Mary Chinturu Adiniu (PhD) Amaefula Uchenna (PhD) Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal for Humanities & Social Sciences (IJHS) 2023-12-15 2023-12-15 2 7 13 Species Relationship and Animal Cruelty in Karen Joy Fowler’s We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves https://journal.schwlar.com/index.php/IJCCR/article/view/68
DOI:10.5281/zenodo.10364886

Over time, multiplicity or replication has influenced life, and life itself has in various ways affected and been affected by the physical environment. A typical example of a member of the physical environment that has been expressly affected by man is the non-human members of the environment especially, animals. Cruelty against animals is an emerging concern in global ecological discourse in recent times. This paper however examines species relationship and animal cruelty in Karen Joy Fowler’s We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves. The objective is to critically investigate how man relates with animals and the spate of cruelty against animals in the physical environment. In order to achieve this set intention, the study engages the theoretical exposition of ecocriticism mainly because of its commitment to environmentalist philosophy. Contrary to a jaundiced belief that animals should not make ecologic discourses, the research reveals that animals are members of the physical environment but are subjected to oppressive cruelty. It shows also that animal rights advocacy is within the purview of environmental literature. The study indicates that species relationships can be a useful standard for gauging the health of the ecosystem.
Charles Chinweolu Ibeneche Adindu Mary Chinturu (Ph.D) Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal for Humanities & Social Sciences (IJHS) 2023-12-17 2023-12-17 2 1 16 The impact of using artificial intelligence techniques with incorrect inputs On financial management work by application to financial institutions and colleges in the Gulf https://journal.schwlar.com/index.php/IJCCR/article/view/75
This study aims to highlight the risks associated with manipulating inputs in artificial intelligence applications in financial management and their role in producing erroneous results. The extensive use of artificial intelligence makes it nearly impossible to distinguish between "true" and "false," despite the significant positive aspects of artificial intelligence in this field, as in other areas. The study concludes with several results, including. The correlation between implementing artificial intelligence techniques and the significant enhancement and increased efficiency in financial management activities is noteworthy. Moreover, the data and information housed in databases powered by artificial intelligence, if flawed, have the potential to yield inaccurate results.
Introduction: The world has witnessed rapid economic and financial developments in recent years, driven by technological advancements and globalization. These factors have propelled the world at an accelerated pace towards the applications of artificial intelligence (AI). AI has emerged as a contemporary topic in the realms of finance and business, attracting the attention of numerous researcher’s eager to study and unravel its nature and its relationship with various variables. This has led to the emergence of various theories and opinions in this field, explaining its dimensions and structure, and highlighting its use in streamlining ideas and behaviors in professional life. In the era of widespread use of information networks, the ubiquitous presence of social media platforms, and the widespread adoption of electronic devices, the volume, quantity, and diversity of information have increased significantly. The information users have multiplied, presenting us with a massive amount of data and information that must be processed, stored, and presented to users for decision-making in the realms of finance and business. Accompanying this wealth of information are numerous risks and challenges that may impact the reliability and dependability of this information, as well as the trust of users and decision-makers. If the inputs stored in databases and information systems are unfair or incorrect, the same inputs will be utilized by artificial intelligence. Additionally, companies aspire to obtain financial information that matches the advancements in information technology associated with providing such information. Therefore, it became necessary to explore the latest smart systems and technologies that can restore credibility to this information, enabling it to be relied upon and used in problem-solving and financial decision-making in various financial domains such as finance and investment with integrity and credibility, avoiding many risks that may arise.
Jeffrey Heinton warns of misleading information associated with artificial intelligence, highlighting that the scientific enthusiasm and intensive use of artificial intelligence will make it almost impossible to distinguish "what is true from what is false." He even speaks of an "nonsense generator," referring to the ability of artificial intelligence to produce persuasive phrases that appear reasonable without being true." (Raqi، 2017) Therefore, it is essential to have a method or system for detecting erroneous biases in artificial intelligence to ensure the accuracy of results and the reliability of decisions.
AHMAD YASSER ALNASSANI (Ph. These channels rely on a number of cartoon series on multiple linguistic methods and structures to display these ideologies, explicitly or implicitly. This paper tends to expose the discourse that the series directs to children through analyzing some episodes according to discursive strategies, linguistic strategies, and social practice of the critical discourse analysis approach. A number of texts, which contain structures and vocabularies that refer in one way or another to these ideologies, have been selected for analysis and mention the power that display.

To achieve the aforementioned aims, the paper hypothesizes that in terms of the linguistic (textual) strategies and the discursive strategies used in the TV series under investigation exposed several ideologies, some of them are more commonly revealed than others. The TV series is analyzed discursively and textually within the Fairclough's approach (2001).
Manar Hameed Ammash Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal for Humanities & Social Sciences (IJHS) 2023-12-15 2023-12-15 2 58 65 The Reality of Administrative Creativity as an Approach to Achieving Competitive Advantage in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman https://journal.schwlar.com/index.php/IJCCR/article/view/71
The aim of the current study was to determine the status of administrative creativity as a means to achieve competitive advantage in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the study objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was used, and a questionnaire was employed as a tool for data collection. The study yielded the following results:
The level of administrative creativity in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman was found to be "moderate." The study results also revealed statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) in the responses of the study sample participants attributed to gender and years of experience. However, no statistically significant differences were found in relation to variables such as educational qualification and nature of job. Furthermore, administrative creativity was found to have an impact on predicting the achievement of competitive advantage in the Ministry of Education.
Based on the study findings, the following recommendations were made: The ministry should adopt a strategy for better utilization of its current resources to achieve competitive advantage and the ministry should implement programs and tests to discover the administrative talents and innovations among its employees, either by developing local scales or adapting international tests.

Radhiya Sulaiman Al-Habsi (Ph. Clare (1794-1864) is an English romantic poetry in the nineteenth century, who writes more than ten volumes about nature. So, this study highlights the concept of Psychoanalytic theory which is ‘ambivalence’ and how through this theory can interpret any literary text on the basis of utilizing psychoanalytic methods to literary texts in order to reveal the author's inner emotions such as motives, dreams, as well as wishes. Consequently, the concept of ‘ambivalence’ has a lot in common with the human psyche and its struggles. Sometimes the reader finds the author/poet talking about something real or a notion with pleasant sentiments, and then he refers to the same thing with sad sensations that are not as happy as the first ones without explanations. Here, the critic's job is to identify the reasons behind these contradicting emotions in the piece of literature. Then, two long poems ("Summer Images" and "Child Harold") from different times show opposing perspectives of natural scenes in the poet's environment and abstract thoughts that revolve in his head. Another aspect is Clare’s insanity. Is it only an accusation, or is it true?. Finally, this critical study emphasises the idea that Clare’s poetry always reflects the inconsistency and instability of thoughts and feelings that the poet suffers from due to his irritated psychological and mental condition.
NIBRAS KAMAL Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal for Humanities & Social Sciences (IJHS) 2023-12-25 2023-12-25 2 30 33 The Symbolism of Irish Motherland in Eavan Boland’s selected poems: Postcolonial Perspective https://journal.schwlar.com/index.php/IJCCR/article/view/74
Symbolism is a conscious movement born in France as a reaction against naturalism; the word “Symbolism” was first used by Jean Moreaas in Le Figaro in 1886. On the other hand, Motherland, as a term that appeared around the late 14th century or the beginning of the 15th century, had the same meaning as fatherland, but the last is older, defined as the native country in which one was born. Eavan Boland made different explanations for motherland symbolism, such as the times (past, present, future), and occasionally Motherland refers to the language, literature, and general culture. This study aims to investigate the Irish Motherland’s symbolism in Eavan Boland’s selected poems and how she attempts to employ some Irish symbols to disclose their absent culture. Boland separates the symbols into two kinds, the first is traditional, and the second is a personal symbol. Traditional symbols, for instance, the “rose”, symbolize beauty or woman. In contrast, the poet devised personal symbols from traditional symbols for national purposes, to express the fleeting imitations passing through his mind or to convey his own sense of his life. Also the other purpose of this study is to study the features, principles, and conceptions of symbols in Boland’s poetry by the postcolonialism theory. This paper concluded that the colonizer deliberately hid the Irish Motherland’s symbolism to finish the Irish culture.
Mohammed Talib Ashour Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal for Humanities & Social Sciences (IJHS) 2021-12-15 2021-12-15 2 66 72 Application of Z–Score and Z-3 Score Models to Evaluate the Financial Situation of the Modern Sewing Company: A Case Study https://journal.schwlar.com/index.php/IJCCR/article/view/72
The purpose of this research work is to examine the financial position of the company studied using Altman’s Z-score and Z-3 score models. We are interested in identifying the financial position of the Modern Sewing Company (MSC) working in Iraq. The study focused on the importance, causes, symptoms of financial failure and distress. When the question deals with the potential effects on the wealth of creditors, stockholders, and society as a whole, researchers consider a company's distress and bankruptcy to be the most important issue to be studied. The Altman Z-score and Altman Z-3 Score models were applied on the financial data of the MSC to investigate and to predict the financial position of MSC between 2016 - 2022. The analysis conducted in this research work was based on the secondary extracted data From the financial statement of the company available on the listed companies at the Iraqi Securities Commission (isc.org.iq). According to the Altman Z-Score the MSC faced financial failure in 2016 and 2020, while according to Altman Z-3 score it was far away from financial failure during 2016-2022. This research is important because it provides investors and the MSC with information to guide their investments. The value and importance of research related to the study of financial failure prediction models in the industrial sector in Iraqi are somewhat rare and requires more deep analysis due to the uncertainty in the Iraqi economy. The financial research also seeks to explain failure models and the extent to which investors benefit from these models.:
Sabah M. Al-Najjar (Ph. D) Maha K. Jawad (Ph.
